When Moko came out of his treasure box today, he was crying. He was sad and scared because he'd made a big mistake.
"It's okay" one of the children offered, "we'll still love you!"
Moko wasn't so sure--but after a lot of convincing from the kids that no matter what the kids would still love him, he finally confessed. He had promised to bring his magic bag full of letter L fun, but had forgotten. The kids were very understanding and offered lots of hugs and "it's okay"'s and "we still love you!"'s.
That reminded Moko of one of his favorite books . . .
What a great opportunity to discuss the mistakes we make and how our families love us no matter what.
